Mid Day Dog Walks

If you work long hours & would like your dog to have company & exercise rain or shine, call me. Dogs require physical & mental stimulations & then there is of course, the "potty break". 3-5 dog walks a week can solve many behavioral problems that result from isolation, boredom & insufficient exercise. Your dog will be happier & healthier. I myself used a dog walker when my schedule was hectic. I felt a lot of relief & my dog was much more focused, relaxed & happy when I got home. Visit includes:
  • Play and walk time
  • Feeding and watering as needed
  • Clean-up, dried off, poop scooped
  • Daily notes to you so you’ll know about your dog’s walk

Pet Taxi

At times you can get so busy there isn’t time to get your pets where they need to be. So to help, I offer drop off, pick up, and I can wait at the vet if need be. I once took 3 cats to the airport when their owner moved. I picked them up at the vet, took them to the airport, got them on the plane from Boston to Atlanta. Their owners picked them up at the other end. Pet taxi includes:
  • Vet visits
  • trips to the groomer
  • Will pick up/deliver food

Rates
As you will see the rates are not carved in stone. Walking, feeding and exercising 3 dogs in the same household can take less time than a sick cat requiring insulin and likes to hide to avoid it. For this reason the rates are firm but flexible and when we have the initial interview the price will be decided at that time. Here are the guidelines.

  • The average visit is 30 minutes at a charge of $20.00 but this of course can change depending on the situation. I do not charge more for more animals but for additional time and that charge is basically $5.00 per 15 minutes. Also there are times when it could be a little less or more based on distance. I never overbook so I won’t be rushing and if I am there an extra 5 minutes because the dog has diarrhea or I needed extra time to eyeball your 3rd cat who is shy and hiding, I won’t charge for that. There are also packages for many visits. Just ask

  • When you are away the second and third visits of the day are often less than the first visit of the day for example: one visit $20.00, 2 visits $35.00 and 3 visits $50.00 but again it will depend on the situation.

  • I also offer packages for daily mid day dog walks which basically get cheaper the more you use me during a given week or month. The base price is $20.00 for a 30 minute mid day dog walk visit which includes for example: a 20 minute dog walk with 10 minutes of affection, getting ready to go out, clean up, hang out, and a dog treat when I leave.

  • The 10th day you use my services is free

  • On Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Day I charge $25 per visit.

Pet Taxi

  • $15.00 per hour for vet or groomer and will wait at vet if needed, drop off, or pickup

  • $12.00 per hour to pick up food and pet supplies
    Chief

Other

  • Payment is due for new customers the day of initial consultation when reservation is made

  • Regular client’s payment is due & can be left for me to pick up on my first visit

  • I require 2 keys whenever possible so there is never any problem getting in. If you are planning on traveling or using me throughout the year then my keeping the keys will mean there is no charge for dropping them off or picking them up.

  • Thank you for choosing me as your pet sitter and I will give you and your pets my very best care. As I always say, I am a nurse and am as dependable, responsible and loyal as they come. It all comes down to the love of animals.
